| At 8:20 PM Deputies stopped a vehicle for following too close on State Hwy 59 near
County Hwy DR, Town of Monroe. Investigation into the stop resulted in the driver, Laverne Helmuth 20, of Evansville, Wi being arrested for Operating While
Intoxicated - 1st Offense. Helmuth was cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration >.15, Automobile Following Too Closely, Open Intoxicants in a
Motor Vehicle and Underage Alcohol Consumption. Passengers in the vehicle identified as Loren Bontrager 19, of Evansville, Wi and James Schwartz 18, of Evansville, Wi were cited for Underage Alcohol Consumption and
Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. All three subjects were released to a responsible party pending court.
