The following incidents occurred on Friday, March 24th, 2023:

OWI:
At approximately 3:01 PM, Deputies responded to the W6000 block of Iliff Rd, Town of Monroe, for a single vehicle crash.
Investigations found that David W Barsness, 71, of Monroe, was eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the ditch. Barsness denied injury, reported wearing his seatbelt, and there was airbag deployment. Barsness’ vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Barsness was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st-Offense) and was cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Barsness was released to a responsible party.
