The following incident occurred on Saturday, April 15, 2023:
OWI Arrest –
At approximately 7:44 PM, Deputies and the Albany Police Department located and conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle that was involved in a reported single vehicle crash and had driven away from the scene. The reported crash occurred at the intersection of S. Main St. and Lake Ave. in the Village of Monticello and the traffic stop occurred at the intersection of County Highway EE and County Highway E, Town of Albany. Investigation resulted in the operator, Eric D. Pallesen, 57 of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence of Alcohol – 7th Offense and Operating with Prohibited Alcohol Concentration – 7th Offense. Eric was jailed pending his initial court appearance.
