The following events occurred on March 10, 2023:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
WARRANT ARREST:
At 9:21 a.m., in the 2800 block of 6th street, in the City of Monroe, Deputies took Juan C. Gumeta-Perez, 55 of Monroe into custody on a warrant through the Green County Sheriff’s Office. Gumeta-Perez was released after posting bond.
DRUG/NARCOTIC VIOLATION:
At 9:30 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation in the W4200 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Jefferson. Investigation resulted in the operator, Justin M. Scaduto, 40 of Roscoe IL being cited for Possession of THC, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating after Suspension, and for Operating without Proof of Insurance. Scaduto was released pending court.
OWI:
On 03/11/23 at 1:47 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation in the 3000 block of State Highway 81, in the Town of Monroe. Investigation resulted in the operator, Taylor L. Mathys, 23 of Blanchardville being arrested for Operating Under the Influence (1st-Alcohol). Mathys was also cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (Greater than .15), and Unsafe Lane Deviation. Mathys was released to a responsible party pending court.
