The following incidents occurred on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023:

OWI:
At approximately 3:26 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of E State St and S Water St, Village of Albany, for a single vehicle accident.
Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Damien R Anderson, 23, of Albany, was westbound on E State St when he failed to negotiate a curve. Anderson lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole. Anderson reported no injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Anderson’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
Anderson was subsequently arrested for Operating While Under the Influence. Anderson was further cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Anderson was released to a responsible party.
