All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 The following incident occurred on Thursday, March 16, 2023:

ACCIDENT PD/OWI:

At 8:39 p.m., Deputies responded to the N8500 block of Klitzke Rd, Town of New Glarus, for a report of a vehicle stuck in a field.  Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Jennifer R. Fultz, 43, of Dalton City, IL, was traveling northbound on Klitzke Rd.   The vehicle continued northbound and entered the ditch/field to the north of STH 39.  The vehicle then collided with a post and became stuck in the field.   Fultz and her passenger reported no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy.   The vehicle sustained minor damage and   was towed from the scene.

Investigation resulted in Fultz being arrested for operating under the influence.  Fultz was further cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration greater than .15 and inattentive driving.  Fultz was later released to a responsible party pending a mandatory court appearance.
