The following events occurred on March 30, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 9:07 a.m., Deputies responded to the W7500 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Cadiz, for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Richard J. Goebel, 52 of Mineral Point, was traveling westbound following another vehicle. The lead vehicle slowed to conduct a right turn. Goebel was unable to stop and attempted to go around the lead vehicle. This caused the two vehicles to sideswipe each other. Goebel reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Goebel’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. The lead vehicle was operated by Todd J. Richard, 32 of Browntown. Richard reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Richard’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
OWI/PROBATION VIOLATION:
At 10:52 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W8400 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Cadiz. Investigation resulted in the operator, Nathan W. Restivo, 44 of South Wayne, being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st-Alcohol). Restivo was further cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Speeding. Restivo was incarcerated at the Green County Jail for a Probation Violation.
