All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incident occurred on Tuesday, July 04, 2023:
Warrant Arrest –
At approximately 11:46 PM, Deputies assisted the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office with a male who reported being chased by other individuals with a knife and a firearm. The subject, Curtis J. Gerber, 39 of Monroe, was located and was alone. No subjects, or evidence of subjects, were located and there are not believed to be any armed subjects in the area.
Further investigation resulted in Curtis being placed under arrest for two active warrants through Green County. Curtis was transported to the Green County Jail where he will be held.
