2023 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on June 16, 2023

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The following incident occurred on Thursday, June 15, 2023:

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury – 

At approximately 10:19 AM, Deputies responded to the N9100 block of CTH CC, Town of Exeter, for a report of a single vehicle crash with no driver on scene. 

Further investigation determined that the operator, Brady Noll, 16, was traveling north on CTH CC when she lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway to the east, down an embankment and rolled onto it’s roof against a tree. Brady was not injured, was wearing her seatbelt and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Brady was subsequently cited for Failure to Notify Police of an Accident, Minor Transporting Un-opened Intoxicants, and Underage Possession of Tobacco. Brady was released with a future court date. 

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury – 

At approximately 2:31 PM, Deputies and Green County EMS, responded to a single vehicle crash in the W4300 block of CTH KS, Town of Jefferson.

Investigation determined the operator, Vicente Torres, 41 of Monroe, was wearing his seatbelt during the crash and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Vicente was issued a citation for Operating After Suspension and was transported by EMS for further evaluation. 

Motor Vehicle Crash – 

At approximately 2:47 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH E and N. Mechanic St., Town of Albany, for a two-vehicle crash with no injury. 

Investigation determined a westbound utility truck being operated by James Starr, 27 of Monroe, was attempting to turn right to travel north on CTH E. A vehicle following th4e utility truck being operated by Bonnie Sansum, 83 of Albany, attempted to pass the truck on the right and collided with the rear quarter panel. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts and not being injured. Bonnie’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. James’ vehicle sustained no damage and was driven from the scene. 

Motor Vehicle Crash – 

At approximately 3:59 PM, Deputies responded to the W6600 block of CTH Y, Town of Monroe, for a single vehicle crash with no injury. 

Investigation determined the operator, Grayce Clark, 17, was eastbound on CTH Y when she swerved to avoid a cat in the roadway. Grayce then overcorrected, entered the south ditch and struck a tree. Grayce reported wearing her seatbelt, not being injured and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. 

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury – 

On 06/15/2023 at approximately 5:38 PM, Deputies, Brodhead EMS, the Brodhead Fire Department, Green County EMS Chief, and MedFlight responded to the N1600 blk of Mt. Hope Rd., Town of Spring Grove, for a single vehicle rollover crash with significant injury.

Investigation determined the male operator was traveling north on Mt. Hope Rd. when he exited the roadway around a sharp curve at a high rate of speed. The truck, pulling a heavy-duty trailer, exited the north ditch, entered a field where the trailer detached. The truck cleared a ditch line, impacted in the field, rolled and came to a rest on it's wheels, sustaining significant damage throughout with airbag deployment. The operator was not wearing his seatbelt and sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by MedFlight from the scene. The truck and trailer were towed from the scene due to disabling damage. The roadway was shut down for approximately 1 hour and 2 minutes.

Domestic Violence Arrest – 

At approximately 9:35 PM, Deputies responded to the N300 block of 1st Center Ave., City of Brodhead, for a report of a disturbance between a male and a female. 

Investigation resulted the offender, Chad M. Eddy, 40 of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct falling under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse laws. Chad was transported to the Green County Jail where he was booked and released on these charges. 

Possession of THC – 

At approximately 12:18 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle N7100 blk of STH 69, Town of Washington, for speed. The driver, Dustin L. Mosley, 21 of Freeport, was given a verbal warning for his speed. 

Further investigation resulted in a passenger, Kameron J. Stebbins, 20 of Freeport, being cited for Possess of THC – Less than 25 Grams. Kameron was released with a future court date.
