The following events occurred on June 7, 2023:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

 At 6:01p.m., Deputies responded to the N4100 block of County Highway M, in the Town of Jordan, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a Semi operated by Dakota A. Cain, 29 of Lena IL was traveling eastbound on Lewis Road. Cain failed to stop at the stop sign and continued across County Highway M and entered the east ditch. The semi continued traveling east through a field before coming to rest. Cain reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The semi sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Investigation resulted in Cain being cited for Fail to Stop at a Stop Sign. Cain was released pending court.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

 At 9:29 p.m., Deputies responded to the N4500 block of County Highway E, in the Town of Decatur, for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Isabel J. Huebner, 17 of Albany was traveling northbound when she collided into another northbound vehicle. Huebner reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The other northbound vehicle was operated by Caroline M. Hawkinson, 77 of Brooklyn. Hawkinson and her passenger reported no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were removed from the scene. Investigation resulted in Huebner being cited for Inattentive Driving. Huebner was released pending court.
