The following incident occurred on Sunday, July 31, 2022:
Motor vehicle Crash –
At approximately 11:38 AM, Deputies responded to the N700 block of County Highway G, Town of Spring Grove, for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Investigation determined that Mary A. Ford, 73 of Davis, IL, was traveling southbound when she crossed the centerline, sideswiping a northbound vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Mary reported wearing her seatbelt, was not injured and there was no airbag deployment.
The operator of the northbound vehicle, Shelly D. Elgin, 36 of Rock Falls, IL, also reported wearing her seatbelt and not being injured. There was also no airbag deployment in her vehicle and her passengers were not injured.
