All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The following incident occurred on Saturday, March 19, 2022: 

OWI Arrest –  

At approximately 12:20 AM, Deputies conducted observed a vehicle in the 1000 block of 20^th St., City of Monroe, parked in the middle of the roadway.  

Investigation resulted in the operator, Dalton L. Wendler, 22 of South Wayne, being placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence of Alcohol, 1^st Offense. Dalton was issued a future court date and was turned over to Green County Jail staff.  

OWI Arrest –  

At approximately 2:42 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 6^th St. and 22^nd Ave. in the City of Monroe.  

Investigation resulted in the operator, Brittany N. Ethridge, 30 of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating a motor vehicle While under the Influence of Alcohol, 2^nd offense. Brittany was issued a future court date and was released to a responsible party.  

Further investigation resulted in the passenger, Tayler J. Graves, 22 of Monroe, being cited for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tayler was given a future court date and was given a ride from the scene.
