All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incident occurred on Thursday, August 24, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Crash –
At approximately 6:42 AM, Deputies responded to the Juda Oasis, W2616 State Highway 11, Town of Jefferson, for a vehicle that crashed into the building.
Investigation determined the operator, Jose A. Colindres-Chacon, 35 of Rockford, parked his vehicle and entered the building. After entering the building, his vehicle rolled forward and collided with the store front. There were no occupants in the vehicle, there was no airbag deployment and it sustained functional damage. Jose was warned for operating without a valid license and was released to a valid driver.
Motor Vehicle Crash –
At approximately 2:27 PM, Deputies responded to the W5100 block of Weiss Ln., Town of Monroe, for a report of a single vehicle crash.
Investigation determined the operator, Jesse A. Zuelke, 46 of Monroe, was traveling west negotiating a curve when he entered the north ditch. Jesse traveled down an embankment, causing his truck to become stuck. The truck also struck a small, dead tree.
Jesse reported wearing his seatbelt, not being injured and there was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The truck sustained functional damage and was removed from the ditch by a tow truck. Jesse was cited for Inattentive Driving and was released with a future court date.
Probation and Parole Arrest:
At approximately 11:38 AM, Deputies took Nathan W. Restivo, 43 of Monroe, into custody after he turned himself in at the Green County Jail for a warrant through Probation and Parole. Nathan was housed in the jail.
