The following incidents occurred on Monday, June 20th, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Accident- Property Damage:
At approximately 12:21 PM, Deputies responded to the N3000 block of Park Rd, Town of Decatur, for a single vehicle accident.
Investigation found that the driver, Kyli J Wilke, 22, of Albany, was northbound on Park Rd when she lost control of her vehicle while approaching a train traveling eastbound on the railroad tracks. Wilke took evasive action, struck a post, and entered the ditch. Wilke avoided a collision with the train.
Wilke reported no injuries, reported wearing her seatbelt, and there was no airbag deployment. Wilke’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
Wilke was cited for too fast for conditions.
