All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incident occurred on Thursday, April 14, 2022:
Sex Offense Arrest –
Green County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Marcus Timothy Gordon, 19, of Monticello, for Possession of Child Pornography and Felony Bail Jumping. Marcus was taken into custody at his place of employment within the City of Monroe, WI. This arrest stemmed from an active investigation into a National Center for Missing & Exploited (NCMEC) Cybertip received by the Green County Sheriff's Office in April 2022. Marcus will be held in the Green County Jail without bond pending an initial court appearance.
Warrant Arrest –
At approximately 2:12 PM, Deputies arrested Eric A. Calkins, 35 of Albany, for an active warrant while he was at the Green County Justice Center for a court appearance. Eric was issued a signature bond and was released from custody.
OWI Arrest –
At approximately 2:17 AM, Deputies received a traffic complaint in the N5900 block of State Highway 69, Town of Mt. Pleasant. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the N3500 block of State Highway 69, Town of Monroe.
Investigation resulted in the operator, Gerald D. Erickson, 64 of Monroe, being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence of Alcohol – 1st Offense. Gerald was also cited for Operating Left of Center and Possession of THC. Gerald was released to a responsible party with a future court date.
