2022 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on March 10, 2022

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The following incident occurred on Wednesday, March 09, 2022: 

Traffic Crime –  

At approximately 3:39 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the W6800 block of County Highway C, Town of Washington.  

Investigation resulted in the operator, Yony X. Matute-Alvarez, 44 of Darlington, being cited for Operating without a Valid Drivers License, 2nd Offense within 2 years and for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. Yony was released with a future court date.  

Probation and Parole Arrest: 

At approximately 2:11 PM, Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested Amy M. Holst, 33, who had a Probation Hold placed on her by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  Amy was incarcerated in the Green County Jail. 

Warrant Arrest –  

At approximately 4:13 PM, Deputies took Robert E. Copeland Jr., 49 of Monroe, into custody at the Green County Justice Center, for two active Child Support warrants. Robert was transported to the Green County Jail where he will be held.  

Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Abuse –  

At approximately 4:14 PM, Deputies responded to the W2900 block of Walnut St., Juda, for a report of a male striking and yelling at an adult female.  

Investigation resulted in the offender, Harley A. Boeck, 29 of Juda, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct, falling under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse laws. Harley was transported to the Green County Jail where he was held pending his initial court appearance or posting of his bond.  

Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Abuse –  

At approximately 6:49 PM, Deputies responded to the N2800 block of County Highway GG, Town of Decatur, for a report of a verbal altercation between and adult male and an adult female.  

Investigation resulted in the offender, Michael E. Cavin, 31 of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, falling under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse laws. Michael was transported to the Green County Jail where he will be held pending his initial appearance or posting of his bond.
