The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022:
Traffic Crime:
At 7:01 AM, Deputies were notified of a vehicle driving through a field in the N3600 block of County Highway F, Town of Decatur.
Deputies located the vehicle and identified the driver as Sergio R Ochoa, 49, of Janesville. Ochoa was cited for operate without a valid license (2nd offense within three years).
Ochoa was released with a court date.
Motor Vehicle Accident- Property Damage:
On 07/27/2022 at approximately 2:28 AM, Deputies responded to the W9600 block of County Highway MM, Town of Cadiz, for a report of a single vehicle rollover accident.
Investigations found the driver, Billy J Paige, 57, of South Wayne, was eastbound on County Highway MM when a deer was observed in the roadway. Paige took evasive action and entered the North ditch where his vehicle overturned.
Paige reported no injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Paige’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
