The following incidents occurred on Friday July 8th 2022:

Traffic Crime
At about 3:36 AM deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on State Highway 59 & CTH FF, Town of Sylvester. Investigation resulted in Rene Vasquez, 19, of Monticello being cited for Operate without Valid License (2nd Offense within 3 years) and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash
At about 2:12 PM deputies responded to a 1 vehicle crash crash in the W7700 block of Smock Valley Rd, Town of Jordan. Investigation revealed that Lane J. Marty, 16, of South Wayne was northbound on Smock Valley Rd when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and struck a tree. Marty reported wearing his seat belt and was not injured. The air bags deployed in the truck. The truck had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Marty was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control. He was released pending court.
Domestic Problem
At about 9:34 PM deputies responded to a residence in the W2000 block of CTH EE, Town of Albany for a domestic problem. Investigation resulted in Jason C. Fess, 34, of Albany for domestic disorderly conduct. Fess was jailed pending court or bond.
The following incidents occurred on Saturday July 9th 2022:
Warrant Arrest
At about 1:34 AM deputies responded to N3200 Crazy Horse Ln, Town of Decatur, for a 911 call. Investigation resulted in Michael L. Lloyd, 48, of Freeport IL being arrested on a warrant that was issued by the Dane County Sheriff's Office. Lloyd was jailed pending bond or court.
OWI
At about 2:30 AM deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the N6100 block of STH 69, Town of Mt Pleasant. Investigation resulted in Skyler A. Stingley, 28, of Monroe being arrested for Operate While Under the Influence (Alcohol) 1st offense. Stingley was also cited for speeding, and Operate with PAC greater then .15. He was released pending court.
OWI
At about 3:29 AM deputies responded to the W6100 block of Highpoint Rd, Town of Washington, for a vehicle parked on the roadway. Investigation resulted in Braden P. Gafner, 22, of Monticello being arrested for Operate While under the Influence (Alcohol) 1st Offense. Gafner was also cited for Improper Parking/Standing of Vehicle. He was released pending court.
