The following events occurred on June 5, 2022:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At 12:28 PM deputies along with Brooklyn Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of STH 92 & Glenway Rd, Town of Brooklyn, for a one vehicle crash with reported injuries.
Investigation revealed that Rebekah R. Pollock, 50, of Deforest was northbound on STH 92 when she failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Glenway Rd. Pollock continued through the intersection and collided with a utility pole on the east side of the road. Pollock was injured in the crash and was transported by Brooklyn EMS to UW Hospital. Pollock was wearing her seat belt and the air bags did not deploy. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Pollock will be issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign at a later date.
ATV CRASH
At 3:18 PM, Deputies, Albany EMS, Albany Fire, and Green County EMS responded to the N7700 blk of Kelly Road, Town of Brooklyn, for an ATV accident with injuries.
Investigation revealed that an 11 year old juvenile male, was operating an ATV on private property when he attempted to turn and as a result, the ATV rolled and landed on top of him. Witnesses were able to lift the ATV off of him. He was complaining of hip and pelvic pain. and was later transported by Albany EMS to UW hospital.
OWI
At 11:52pm, Deputies stopped Jared M. Manske, 29, of New London, for speeding in the W5200 block of STH 11, Monroe Township. The investigation
resulted in Jared being arrested for OWI 1st offense and cited for speeding and was later released.
OWI
At 1:30 am, Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 81 and Trotter Rd, Adams Township, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. The investigation resulted in Philip S. Tackett, 60, of Argyle, being arrested for OWI 6th
offense and was transported to the jail.
