The following incidents occurred on Sunday, June 12th, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Accident-Personal Injury:
At approximately 4:34 AM, Deputies along with Browntown Fire and Green County EMS responded to the W8000 block of County Highway P, Town of Cadiz, for a report of a single vehicle accident.
Investigations found the driver, Emma Sanchez Chipahua, 22, of Monroe, was westbound on County Highway P when she failed to negotiate a curve due to the fog. Sanchez Chipahua’s vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment where it overturned.
Sanchez Chipahua sustained injury and was transported by EMS. Sanchez Chipahua reported wearing her seatbelt. There was airbag deployment. As a result of the crash Sanchez Chipahua’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Sanchez Chipahua was cited for operating without a valid driver license (2nd within three years) and driving too fast for conditions.
OWI:
At approximately 7:28 AM Deputies along with New Glarus PD, Belleville Fire and Belleville EMS, responded to the W4100 block of CTH W, Town of Exeter, for a report of a male subject slumped over the steering wheel.
Investigations resulted in the driver, Kendrick J Eichelkraut, 31, of Belleville, being arrested for operating while under the influence-5th offense. Eichelkraut was additionally cited for operating without a valid driver license, and a license restriction violation. Eichelkraut was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
