The following events occurred on September 10th, 2021:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Criminal Arrest:
At approximately 3:00 PM, Deputies, with the assistance of Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Green County Human Services, Stateline Area Narcotics Taskforce, Green County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team, and Monroe Police Dept. Emergency Response Team, conducted a residential search warrant in the N5500 blk State HWY 69, Town of Washington, pursuant to an investigation.
This incident resulted in Derek S Hammer, 34, Shannon, IL, being arrested for two counts disorderly conduct (domestic abuse related), battery (domestic abuse related), possession of THC (felony), possession of cocaine (2nd offense), two counts felon in possession of a firearm, two counts child neglect, maintaining a drug trafficking dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance. Melissa A Trumpy, 36, Monticello, was arrested for child neglect, possession of THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released pending an initial court appearance.
