Project Evaluation

These were the initial steps of the project that began the process taking an idea from more than a discussion amongst county staff and county board supervisors to actual evaluation, review of historic jail data and facility inspections and walk throughs.  

Sheriff’s Project Kick off Presentation

December 2024

  • Authorized Sheriff to solicit RFP's for a Space Needs Assessment and Design for the Sheriff's Office/Jail

January 2025

  • Authorized contract with Kramer Brothers for Construction Management/Project Management Services for the Sheriff's Office/Jail

  • Authorized administrative staff to begin developing a strategic Public Relations plan

February 2025

  • Sheriff’s Office Staff, County Staff and County Board Supervisors toured Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Jail.  

  • Authorized contract with Klein McCarthy Associates for a needs assessment/master planning/design service for the Sheriff's Office/Jail

  • Sheriff’s Office staff toured Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and Jail  

March 2025

  • County Board Facilities Kickoff Forum - KMA and Kramer Brothers 

  • County Board Jail and Sheriff’s Office Tour 

  • Sheriff’s Office Staff toured Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Jail
