Special Press Release – Search Warrant / Arrest

At approximately 6:14 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022, the Green County Sheriff's Office, assisted by an agent with Stateline Area Narcotics Team (SLANT), executed a residential search warrant at N9156 Dohm Drive, in the Town of Exeter as part of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Investigation.

A several month-long investigation which began with the receipt of two National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) Cybertips referred from the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.   As a result of this investigation an arrest warrant was issued for NATHAN O. WIDISH, age 18, of the above address. The arrest warrant listed charges of Possession of Child Pornography (one count) and Child Sexual Exploitation (4 counts) (refer to Green Co WI CCAP case 22CF98). WIDISH was arrested on the warrant without incident and incarcerated in the Green County Jail, pending an initial court appearance. The case remains under investigation. 

Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
