2022 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on March 18, 2022

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The following incident occurred on Thursday, March 17, 2022: 

Disorderly Conduct/Probation Hold –  

At approximately 2:20 AM, Deputies and the Brodhead Police Department, responded to the W500 block of Mary Ln., Town of Decatur, for a report of an ongoing physical altercation. 

Investigation resulted in Justin D. Kainz, 30 of Brodhead, and Trevor L. Shrader, 35 of Brodhead, both being arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Justin was placed on a Probation Hold by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and also attained a second count of Disorderly Conduct while being transported to the Green County Jail. Both subjects were jailed pending their initial court appearances or posting of their bond.  

Traffic Crime –  

At approximately 1:38 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the W5200 block of State Highway 11, Town of Monroe.  

Investigation resulted in the operator, Carley L. Muenchow, 29 of Brodhead, being cited for Operating While Revoked due to OWI, Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device and for speed (82 MPH in a 55 MPH zone). Carley was released with a future court appearance.  

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury –  

At approximately 4:35 PM, Deputies, the Brodhead Fire Department and Green County EMS, responded to the W1000 block of State Highway 11, Town of Spring Grove, for a two vehicle crash with injury.  

Investigation determined that a west bound operator, Amanda L. Seichter, 37 of Brodhead, had come to a stop in the roadway waiting to turn south into a driveway. While waiting for east bound traffic to clear, Amanda was struck from behind by another west bound operator, Toby L. Hosch, 19 of Juda.  

Amanda and her juvenile passenger were both transported by Green County EMS for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, both occupants reported wearing their seatbelts and there was no airbag deployment.  

Toby was not injured in the crash and reported wearing his seatbelt. His vehicle sustained disabling damage and also had no airbag deployment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and Toby received a citation for Inattentive Driving.  

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury –  

At approximately 10:55 PM, Deputies, Albany Police Department, the Albany Fire Department and Albany EMS responded to the N6400 block of State Highway 104, Town of Albany, for a report of a one vehicle rollover crash with unknown injury.  

Investigation determined that a southbound operator, Amir E. Warren, 18 of Brodhead, attempted to avoid a deer in the roadway and entered the west ditch. The vehicle continued down an embankment, causing it to roll. The vehicle came to a rest on the driver’s side and Amir was able to remove himself from the vehicle. Amir reported wearing his seatbelt and was transported by Albany EMS for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and had full airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
