The following incident occurred on Monday, March 07, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Crash –
At approximately 7:55 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of Country Club Dr. and Golf Course Rd., Town of Decatur, for a two vehicle crash.
Investigation determined that a northbound operator on Golf Course Rd., Alexis S. Restivo, 27 of Brodhead, attempted to slow to take a right turn onto Country Club Dr. Alexis was unable to control her vehicle on the snow covered roadway and continued sliding northbound. Alexis’ vehicle then collided with a vehicle facing southbound at a stop sign on Golf Course Rd. The stopped vehicle was being operated by Ersan Erol, 50 of Brodhead.
Alexis sustained no injuries and reported wearing her seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment in her vehicle, which sustained moderate front end damage, and it was driven from the scene.
Ersan also reported not being injured and wearing his seatbelt. Ersan’s vehicle had no airbag deployment, sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Warrant Arrest –
At approximately 2:42 PM, Thor A. Crapp, 33 of Monticello, turned himself in at the Green County Jail, 2827 6th St., Mornoe, for an active arrest warrant. Thor was taken into custody and will be held in the Green County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
