All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The following incident occurred on Tuesday, February 08, 2022: 

Warrant Arrest –  

At approximately 2:16 AM, Deputies responded to the W3300 block of County Highway SS, Town of Sylvester, to attempt locate a subject with an active Felony Warrant.  

Deputies located the subject, Keith M. Bennett, 69 of Monroe, and placed him under arrest. Keith was transported to the Green County Jail where he will be held pending his initial court appearance.  

Motor vehicle Crash with Injury –  

At approximately 1:20 PM, Deputies, Wisconsin DNR, Green County EMS and the Browntown Fire Department, responded to the intersection of County Highway B and County Highway M, Town of Cadiz, for a report of a single vehicle crash. 

Investigation determined that the operator, Patricia L. Fox, 81 of Pecatonica, was traveling south on CTH M, when she failed to stop at the intersection. Patricia’s vehicle continued south and exited the roadway and became airborne, entering a field. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, had airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.  

Patricia reported wearing her seatbelt and was transported by GCEMS for non-life threatening injuries. Patricia was also issued a citation for Inattentive Driving.  

Probation and Parole Arrest: 

At approximately 3:37 PM, Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested Amy M. Holst, 33 of Monroe, who had a Probation Hold placed on her by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.   Amy was incarcerated in the Green County Jail.
