The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022:
Motor Vehicle Accident-Personal Injury:
At approximately 8:17 PM, Deputies responded to the N4200 block of CTH E, Town of Decatur, for a report of a single vehicle accident.
The driver was identified as Macy P Fernandes, 16, of Brodhead, who was northbound on CTH E when she drove off the roadway and struck a tree. Fernandes reported wearing her seatbelt, the airbags deployed, and Fernandes reported an injury.
Fernandes was transported by EMS for further evaluation. Fernandes’ vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
Fernandes was cited for failure to maintain control.
