2022 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on January 14, 2022

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The following incident occurred on Thursday, January 13, 2022: 

OWI Arrest –  

At approximately 2:58 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the State Highway 11 on ramp off of State Highway 69, Town of Monroe.  

Investigation resulted in the operator, Brenda C. Bradt, 33 of Monroe, being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence of a Restricted Controlled Substance – 1st Offense. Brenda was also cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  

Probation and Parole Arrest: 

At approximately 9:06 AM, Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested Lucas A. Noble, 24 of Monroe, for a Probation Hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  Lucas was taken into custody, and was then released due to unforeseen circumstances.  

Traffic Crash With Injury –  

At approximately 9:29 AM, Deputies, Blanchardville EMS and the Blanchardville Fire Department, responded to the intersection of State Highway 39 and State Highway 78, Town of York, for a report of a one vehicle crash with injury.  

Investigation determined that the operator, Catherine M. Duran, 69 of Blanchardville, was traveling south on STH 78 when the sun obstructed her view, causing her to go through an intersection without stopping. The vehicle continued off of the roadway into the ditch, striking a sign and coming to a rest. There was no airbag deployment, Catherine reported wearing her seatbelt and the vehicle sustained disabling damage. The vehicle was towed from the scene.  

Catherine was transported by Blanchardville EMS to be evaluated for injuries received in the crash.  

Motor Vehicle Crash –  

At approximately 9:55 PM, deputies responded to the N5000 block of State Highway 104, Town of Albany, for a report of a single vehicle crash. 

Investigation determined that the operator, Treveon A. Bivens, 20 of Beloit, was traveling west on County Highway B, Rock County, and did not see the stop sign at the intersection of CTH B and STH 104. Treveon continued through the intersection and struck an embankment in the west ditch of STH 104. Treveon was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained disabling and was towed from the scene.  

Treveon was written a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle.
