All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The following incidents occurred on Thursday, September 23, 2021:

Traffic Crime:

At approximately 12:45 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the 1000 block of STH 69 in the Village of New Glarus.   Investigation resulted in the driver of the vehicle, Otis I. Dawson Jr, 37, Monroe, WI, being cited for Operate after Revocation (Traffic Crime) and for Possession of THC.  Dawson Jr was released pending a mandatory court appearance.   

Traffic Crime:

At approximately 10:23 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for Speeding in the W4100 block of Middle Juda Rd in the Town of Jefferson.  Investigation resulted in the driver, Joseph T. Klessinger, 23, Juda, WI, being arrested for Bail Jumping.  Klessinger was cited for Operate after Revocation (Traffic Crime) and Operate with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration on a .02 Restriction.   Klessinger was incarcerated in the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance or the posting of bond.
