The following incidents occurred on Friday, November 28th, 2025:

OWI:
At approximately 7:32 PM, Deputies responded to the N5100 block of State Highway 69, Town of Washington, for a hit-and-run accident.
Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Daniel F Kinney, 84, of Brooklyn, was southbound on State Highway 69 when he was struck by another vehicle operating northbound. Kinney reported no injuries as a result of the crash. The other vehicle then departed the scene.
Deputies later located the other involved vehicle. Subsequent investigations resulted in the arrest of Gregory C Schmitz, 76, of Monroe for Operating While Intoxicated- 2nd. Schmitz was released to a responsible party pending court.
