On Saturday, July 26 at 7:50 PM the Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle crash on Tucker Road approximately ¼ mile west of County Hwy N in the Town of Washington.  The crash location is approximately 4.5 miles southwest of the Village of Monticello.   Deputies immediately responded to the scene along with Monticello Fire Department and Green County EMS.  Preliminary investigation determined a northbound pickup truck lost control while negotiating a curve.  The pickup truck operated into the west ditchline where it collided with a tree.  . 

The northbound pickup truck was operated by a 43 year old female of Monroe.  She sustained life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by UW-Med Flight to UW-Hospital.  The pickup truck sustained disabling damage to the front driver side.  The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and the airbags did deploy.  The crash remains under investigation at this time.
