Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 8:55 PM, Deputies responded to the W9400 block of CTH Y, in the Town of Jordan, for a reported motorcycle versus deer crash with injury. The investigation found that the driver, Jeffrey L. Hartwig, 72, of Monroe, was traveling westbound when he collided with a deer in the roadway and then was ejected from the motorcycle. Hartwig was later transported to the hospital for apparent non-life-threatening injuries. Hartwig’s motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
