Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 5:15 PM, Deputies responded to the N2400 block of CTH T, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a single vehicle crash with unknown injuries.  The investigation found that Marcos Zopiyactle Zalamihua, 32, of Freeport, was traveling southbound when he lost visibility due to dust from the gravel road. Zopiyactle Zalamihua then entered the west ditch, where the vehicle overturned and then came to a rest upright in the west field.  Zopiyactle Zalamihua advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt.  The passenger in the vehicle, Zenaido Tetlatle, 20, of Freeport, also reported he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt.  Zopiyactle Zalamihua's vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and remained on scene pending a tow truck.  The investigation resulted in Zopiyactle Zalamihua being cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver's License and released pending court.
