Single Vehicle Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries
On Sunday, March 30, 2025 at approximately 6:02 AM, the Green County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of a single vehicle crash with Injuries in the 500 block of S Mill St in Browntown. Sheriff's Deputies along with Browntown Fire Department and Green County EMS were dispatched to the scene.
Investigation found that a Blue 2005 Toyota Sienna van was traveling Northbound on CTH M / S Mill St when the vehicle operator, MICKEY KLEMM, 50, of rural Browntown, WI suffered a medical event, became unresponsive, and was unable to control the vehicle. KLEMM's passenger, MICHELLE KLEMM, 47, of rural Browntown, WI was able to take control of the steering wheel and guided the vehicle off of the roadway where it came to rest in a field. The KLEMM vehicle left the roadway, entered the west ditch, struck an embankment, and came to rest in a nearby field.
Stemming from the collision, the vehicle sustained severe disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. MICKEY and MICHELLE were properly restrained and sustained non-life threatening injuries from the collision. Once the vehicle came to a stop, MICHELLE was quickly able to summon emergency assistance for MICKEY. Both MICKEY and MICHELLE were transported by EMS for medical treatment.
