The following events occurred on Monday, March 3rd, 2025

OWI:
At approximately 4:51 PM, Deputies along with Browntown Fire and Green County EMS responded to the N2400 block of County Highway M, Town of Cadiz, for a report of a two vehicle accident.
Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Michael S Trumble, 68, of Browntown, had initially been northbound on Cadiz Springs Rd. Trumble lost control of the vehicle, entered the ditch and struck a fence. Trumble continued driving West on Smock Valley Rd and then South on County Highway M where he struck another vehicle operated by Michael A King, 43, of McConnell. Trumble and King sustained injuries as a result of the collision. King reported wearing his seatbelt.
Trumble and King’s vehicles sustained disabling damages with no airbag deployment in either. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
As a result, Trumble was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence-1st offense. Trumble was released to a responsible party.
