Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 6:56 AM, Deputies, Brodhead FD, and Brodhead EMS responded to the intersection of Mt. Hope & Pedee Rd., in the Town of Spring Grove, for a single vehicle crash with injury. The investigation found that the driver, Heidi A. Woods, 24, of Rockford, was traveling eastbound on Pedee Rd. when she failed to stop at a stop sign and then struck a tree. Woods advised that she was wearing her seatbelt. Woods’ vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Woods was later transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation. Woods was cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop signs and Non-Registration of Vehicle pending a future court date.
