Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 9:04 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH J & STH 39, in the Town of York, for a two-vehicle crash with injury.  The investigation found that a truck driven by Deanne L. Kim, 44, of Argyle, entered the intersection of CTH J and collided with an eastbound motorcycle driven by Lucas H. Douty, 19, of Blanchardville.  Kim advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.   Her vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and the vehicle was driven from the scene.   Douty was wearing a full-face helmet, gloves, and boots and sustained injuries.  Douty’s vehicle sustained function damage.  Douty was later transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation.  The investigation resulted in Kim being cited for Failure to Yield from a Stop Sign – Causing Bodily Harm.  Kim was released pending a future court date.
