The following events occurred on July 13, 2024:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

OWI:

At 11:19 p.m., Deputies along with the Monroe Police Department responded to the W5000 block of State Highway 59, in the Town of Monroe, for the report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Alejandro Colin-Urbina, 30 of Evansville, was traveling eastbound when he lost control and entered the south ditch colliding with a culvert. Urbina sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags deployed. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. 

Investigation resulted in Urbina being arrested for Operating Under the Influence (1st). Urbina was further cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (Greater than 0.15), Operating Without a Valid License, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, and Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control. Urbina was released to a responsible party pending court .
