The following events occurred on July 2, 2024:

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 8:55 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 104 & CTH C, in the Town of Brooklyn, for a motor vehicle crash. The investigation found that Sergine Fall, 36, of Madison, was traveling west when he failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled through the intersection where he struck a traffic sign and then came to a rest in the ditch. Fall advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Fall was later cited for Driving too Fast for Conditions and released with a future court date.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 9:29 AM, Deputies to the W4300 block of Exeter Crossing Rd., in the Town of Exeter, for a one vehicle crash with nobody around the vehicle. The investigation found that Jacqueline O. Knight, 21, of Monticello, was traveling east when she entered the ditch where the vehicle came to a rest. Knight advised she was not injured and wearing her seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Knight left the scene prior to reporting the crash to law enforcement. Knight was later cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Notify Law Enforcement of an accident pending a future court date.
Warrant Arrest
At 2:19 PM, Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th St. (Green County Justice Center), in the City of Monroe, where Candalerrio Mejia Gutiereez, 46, of Monticello, was placed under arrest for an active warrant through Green County. Gutiereez was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail without incident.
Operating While under the Influence
At 9:36 PM, Deputies responded to the W1700 block of STH 92, in the Town of Brooklyn, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries. The investigation found that the driver, Mason C. Woods, 22, was traveling westbound when he entered the north ditch, overcorrected, crossed across the roadway where he struck a fence. Woods advised he was not injured and wearing his seatbelt. Woods' vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
Woods was later placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence (first offense) and cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (greater than .15) and Failure to Maintain Control. Woods was later released to a responsible party pending court.
