The following events occurred on May 31, 2024:

Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage:
At 9:32 a.m., Deputies responded to the W4100 block of County Highway KS, in the Town of Jefferson, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Brinley R. Gebhart, 21 of Monroe, was traveling westbound when she reportedly swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle then left the roadway and collided with the south ditch. Gebhart reported no injuries, was not wearing a seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
