The following events occurred on May 23, 2024:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
OWI:
At 12:45 p.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS and Browntown Fire Department responded to the W9000 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Cadiz for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a motorcycle operated by Douglas B. Scace, 53 of Browntown, was traveling eastbound when the motorcycle left the roadway and entered the ditch. Scace was reported to be wearing eye protection and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Investigation resulted in Scace being arrested for Operating Under the Influence (5th). Scace was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
Probation Violation:
At 2:33 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe, to assist Department of Corrections Agents. Investigation resulted in Brandon S. Richardson, 34 of Monroe, being arrested for a Probation Violation. Richardson was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
