The following events occurred on March 24, 2024:

DRUG/NARCOTICS VIOLATION:
At 2:10 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation, in the N6000 block of State Highway 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Investigation resulted in the operator, Donquell D. Adams, 27 of Brookfield, being cited for Possession of THC, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Speeding. A passenger in the vehicle, Dwan L.L. Jackson, 25 of Freeport, was also cited for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Adams and Jackson were released pending court.
