The following events occurred on August 27, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 12:11 p.m., Deputies responded to the N3800 block of County Highway E, in the Town of Decatur, for a motorcycle crash. Investigation revealed that a motorcycle operated by Justin M. Carreras, 28 of Loveland Co was traveling northbound. Carreras reported a southbound vehicle crossing the centerline. Carreras swerved to avoid the vehicle cause the motorcycle to overturn. Carreras reported no injuries, was not wearing a helmet or eye protection. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene.
DOMESTIC ABUSE:
At 4:05 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the 900 block of 19th Street, in the City of Brodhead for the report of a physical altercation. Investigation resulted in Christopher L. Viti, 44 of Brodhead being arrested for Battery and Disorderly Conduct (domestic related). Viti was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending the posting of bond or an initial court appearance. The Albany Police Department assisted at the scene.
