On 8/22/2023 at approximately 4:55 p.m., GRSO Dispatch received a report of a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the parking lot of Caseys at 101 STH 69, Village of Monticello. Deputies responded to the location and made contact with Thomas P. Deprez, 82, of Monroe, and Delores M. Turner, 74, of New Glarus. Turner advised that she was turning into a parking spot when she struck Deprez's parked vehicle. Neither party reported injuries and each vehicle sustained minimal damage. Delores was wearing her seatbelt during the accident, and no airbags were deployed.
