The following events occurred on July 28, 2023:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
PROBATION VIOLATION:
At 1:26 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe to assist Department of Corrections Agents. Investigation resulted in Zachary J. Hyde, 32 of Mineral Point being placed under arrest for a Probation Violation. Hyde was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 8:21 p.m., Deputies responded to the W8800 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Cadiz for the report of a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by, William R. Cobine, 83 of Elizabeth was traveling westbound. Due to weather conditions, Cobine crossed the center line and collided with a eastbound vehicle. Cobine reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy.
The eastbound vehicle was operated by, Dayton J. Burmeister, 20 of Gratiot. Burmeister reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.
