Deputies have worked throughout the night in conducting searches, processing evidence and conducting numerous interviews in response to an incident on Hay Hollow Rd. in York Township, first called in at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday night.  After evaluating all of the information, we have a high degree of confidence that this incident was isolated, domestic related, alcohol related and that there is no threat to the public.

The Green County Sheriff's Office still has deputies in the area and is in the processes of replenishing our manpower.  The suspect has not been located as of the time of this release and deputies will continue to search for the suspect throughout the day.  It is anticipated that the suspect will be facing charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Intentionally Pointing a Firearm, Disorderly Conduct while Armed, Disorderly Conduct and Armed while Intoxicated when he is located.

Assisting agencies included New Glarus Police, Monroe Police, Lafayette County Sheriff's Office deputies and personnel from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.  Blanchardville and Green County EMS were staged in the area and Argyle Fire Department responded with equipment.

The community may go about their business as usual and are encouraged to call 911 if they notice anything unusual in the area.
