The following events occurred on May 7, 2023:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

At 4:27 p.m., Deputies responded to the W7000 block of State Highway 39, in the Town of New Glarus for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by James J. Voegeli, 59 of New Glarus was traveling westbound when a tire blew. Voegeli reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and remained on scene pending tow arrangements.

DRUG/NARCOTIC VIOLATION:

At 8:25 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation in the W2200 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Spring Grove. Investigation resulted in the driver, Nathan R.M. Sweet, 31 of Beloit being cited for Speeding and Operating Without a Valid License. A passenger, Samantha L. Smith, 31 of Milwaukee was cited for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Smith and Sweet were released pending court.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

At 10:22 p.m., Deputies responded to the N1200 block of State Highway 69, in the Town of Clarno for a two-vehicle crash, with no injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Caramel R. Huber, 56 of Cedarville was traveling northbound when her vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle operated by Mathias J. Curran, 17 of Argyle. Huber reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Curran and passenger reported no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.
