The following incidents occurred on Saturday, February 18th, 2023:

Motor Vehicle Crash- Property Damage:
At 2:58 PM, Deputies responded to the W1400 blk of Ten Eyk Rd, Decatur Township, for a one vehicle accident. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by, Hunter A. Foster, 16, of Juda, was traveling west on Ten Eyk Rd, when Foster lost control of the vehicle due to ice on the roadway. Foster was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage/ OWI:
At 6:09 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2200 block of Cadiz Springs Road, Town of Cadiz, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by David J. Madsen, 53, of Monroe was traveling eastbound. Madsen reported losing control of his vehicle. The vehicle then entered the north ditch and collided with a tree. Madsen was not injured, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did deploy. Madsen's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Investigation resulted with Madsen being arrested for Operate Under the Influence (1st- Alcohol). Madsen was later released pending court.
