Motor Vehicle Crash - Property Damage

At 6:53 AM, Deputies responded to the W8100 block of STH 11, in the Town of Cadiz, for a reported single vehicle crash.  The investigation found that a vehicle driven by Marvin Bernet, 31, of Butschuril Switzerland, was driving westbound when he veered off the roadway and collided with a guardrail.  Bernet reported that he was wearing his seatbelt and advised he was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Bernet was later cited for Failure to Control Vehicle and released pending court. 

Probation Violation

At 4:03 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of CTH B & Allen Rd., in the Town of Cadiz.  The investigation resulted in Dylan E. James Mader, 17, of Browntown, being placed under arrest for a Probation Hold due him violating his probation conditions.  Mader was additionally cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign and Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License.  Mader was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
