Operating While under the Influence
At 8:34 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the N3200 block of STH 81, in the Town of Monroe. The investigation resulted in the driver, Effren M. Carrasco, 43, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under Influence. Carrasco was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Operating without a Valid Driver’s License. Carrasco was later released to a responsible person pending court.
